Now, to describe the Roulette table: as stated, the wheel is numbered from 0-36. The numbers will be alternated between black and red while the zeros will be green. The felt table has the diagram of betting combinations that you can wager on. This grid on the table has 3 columns and 12 rows, which are designated places for you to place your chips. When you place your wager, you have the choice to bet on a color or number or even a group of numbers.

When play begins, the wheel is set in motion and a ball spins in the opposite direction as that of the wheel. Players can place their wagers till the croupier or dealer stops it by saying “no more bets”. The players gathered at the table are anxious to know which pocket the ball will settle in, thereby declaring the winner. Those who correctly predicted the fall of the ball will be the winner.

In Roulette, betting on which number the ball will land isn’t the only way to win. In fact, there are various types of bets that can be placed. For instance, you can bet on two adjacent numbers or three numbers in a horizontal line, a block of 4 numbers or six numbers in two adjacent rows. Of course, the payout ratios keep on diminishing as you place your bets on various combinations of numbers.

You will hear a lot of noise, some shouting and yelling at the Roulette table, just like at a craps table. There is a lot of excitement, so the game is enjoyable.
