There can be only one poker player left, of the 200 who will fight to win the VII Spain Championship of Poker, which makes its seventh stop in the Mediterranean Alicante Casino and whose grand finale will take place on Sunday July the 8. The total number of participants in the national tournament in the provincial rankings and tournaments to be held around the event is about 700 people, all of which will try their luck on the Alicante casino floor mats.

As explained yesterday at the presentation ceremony the organizer from Alicante, Alberto Garcia is at the moment, taking into account the satellite tournaments which give access to the national competition, “the event and Alicante is a success because we have broken the record of registered players in the preliminaries, with 203 players” said Garcia.  The selection of players to the national passing percentage goes to enrollees, so that Alicante is by far the tournament that has the most local participation, with 30 classified players.

Next to the organizer, Lautaro Curi attended Maria Anton, who ranked first and sixth respectively in last year’s national tournament in Alicante.  This tournament will really try the tactics and strategies that each of these 200 players have.

Poker tournaments in Spain are very popular, but they are always attracting people from other countries as well.  The World Series of Poker has held several tournaments in this country and the final tournaments of this season will be held in the Spanish capital.

The tournament will be televised and this will allow fans to watch their favorite players trying to take home another bracelet.  The Spain Championship of Poker is one of the most important events of the year and since it is almost near a decade of being played, it is certainly becoming a tradition for many poker players and fans.

While some people are outraged about authorities allowing casinos and poker tournaments to be hosted legally, there are certainly a lot more people who are in favor of this and who are very happy that this is taking place.  Poker tournaments are very fun and they can also turn you into a millionaire in just a couple days.  If you want to try your luck and want to have a great time, playing in some poker tournaments will be one of the best things that you ever do.  There is no problem with playing some poker and once you start feeling the adrenaline of this game, you will most likely never want to stop playing it.
