iPoker presents new HTML5 app and Bodog Canada is now mobile

The smartphone age is here and it seems to be staying here for the years to come; something that can best be seen when it comes to online gambling. Most of the top operators are looking to extend their offer to include mobile versions or have already taken the leap and are enjoying the boost in revenue that comes with it. Of course, it is never that easy but the one thing that is certain is that the future of online gambling, and pretty much any other internet related business, is mobile.

When talking about online poker, mobile has already become a common sight as the big rooms can be accessed with ease on a variety of mobile devices. The best example would be the industry leader PokerStars as it continues to stay far ahead of any real competition it might have from the other operators. Apart from the huge traffic and the many celebrities wearing the red spade, PokerStars is also the leading poker room when talking about mobile apps.

More Online Operators Go MobileMobile poker allows players to always stay connected with the virtual tables and get a few sessions started at any point during the day. While the mobile apps normally don’t offer the same variety of games that can be found in the regular online version, there still are plenty of ring game stakes and Sit & Go’s to make it exciting.

iPoker launches new mobile HTML5 client

iPoker is the largest poker network on the internet, ranked third as far as real money ring game players go, after PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker. The network has some very well-known poker rooms with Titan Poker being the biggest one.

Recently, iPoker released a new HTML5 application for mobile devices which is already being rolled out across the skins. Bet365 and Winner are the first to offer the new client.

Players first got to see the mobile friendly app a few months ago, in April, when Pokerfuse introduced it with the mention that it will be added in a few weeks. However, it took more time than expected in order to get everything just right and the new client promises to make the wait worth it.

With the new browser-based app, users can also expect some nice promotions to get the action started. According to Winner Poker, the client works on Apple smartphones and tablets and on Android devices while the advertisements on Bet365 Poker claim the client is only available for iPhone and iPad. Whatever the device of choice, the mobile app offers the standard cash games as well as the fast-fold poker variation developed by iPoker – Speed Poker. SNGs and tournaments are expected to be added soon.

Bodog Canada joins the mobile train

Bodog is a known gambling brand founded by Canadian Calvin Ayre. The main site directs users to online sports betting, poker and casino options to make sure that gamblers get everything they need from one place.

Bodog Canada has just announced that its online casino is now available on mobile devices using iOS and Android operating systems. The new app has 10 games that include blackjack, roulette and quite a few 3D slots.

The casino manager of the Bodog site in Canada stated that they have been looking to launch a mobile-friendly app for quite some time now and that the results in Europe promise this to be a successful and obvious step to take. Bodog Canada is now amongst the first online casinos to offer their games on mobile devices and this will very likely give the brand an advantage. More games are expected to be added as time goes by but for now, the 10 titles are enough to keep users engaged.
